The Joint Council is a leadership alliance with representatives from the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, the American Heart Association Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young, the American College of Cardiology Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Committee, and the American Board of Pediatrics sub board of Pediatric Cardiology.
